FAQs

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is Hemp?

Hemp is a dense green leafy plant with tons of natural herbal nutrients like terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, chlorophyll, amino acids, and over 100 cannabinoids, the most popular being CBD. Hemp is used all over the world in food, supplements, fiber, and medicine.

What is CBD?

Short for cannabidiol, CBD is a natural chemical compound extracted from the Cannabis sativa plant. It is a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid substance that’s used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. CBD is known to impact our happy mood, providing wellness and balance to the body.

What does CBD help with?

In terms of the impact on our overall wellness research is ramping up, and for good reason. People are feeling the positive effects of CBD, and due to the heightened interest it is closely studied for its role in easing symptoms of many common health issues, including anxiety, depression, acne and heart disease. For those with cancer, it may even provide a natural alternative for pain and symptom relief.

Is CDB Legal?

Yes, CBD is legal in all states at the federal level thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill that was passed. It is still up to individual states to determine whether they want to regulate CBD. To date, only Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota place restrictions on CBD.

Will CBD get me “high”?

CBD will not get you high. In higher doses many people report feeling an uplifting affect. However, the main reason CBD does not get you high is the fact that the THC potency, compared to Marijuana, is very low; less .3%. Further, Broad-spectrum THC Free CBD oil has no THC. Planet Three currently has THC free CBD products.

How do I take CBD?

The most common ways are to place measured tinctured oil under the tongue or ingest a consumable product orally such as a gummy. Other common ways include topical creams or adding CBD oil or powder to baking goods and smoothies. CBD can also be vaped.

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

While both plants come from the cannabis species the difference is that hemp plants contain no more than 0.3 percent of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive substance found in marijuana. In comparison marijuana contains 5 to 20 percent of THC. One way to think of it is to consider all the similar types of soft drinks out there that offer “regular” and “diet” versions for us to choose from. Choosing CBD is the healthy alternative in this case.

Do I need a doctor’s recommendation to take CBD?

Planet Three is committed to your health every step of the way. It is always advisable that you consult with your doctor before beginning a natural, herbal daily regimen.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

How should I store my CBD?

It is best to store CBD in a dry temperature-controlled place away from extreme light and heat.

How long before my CBD will expire?

The great part about CBD is that it has a long shelf life. We recommend using CBD daily, as part of your everyday healthy habits. However, rest assured that CBD will last about 12 to 24 months.

Can I take my CBD on a flight?

Researching this question is always a good idea since guidelines change frequently when it comes to air travel. While it is legal to ship CBD across state lines the TSA has put out guidelines that suggest that because there are trace amounts of THC in Full Spectrum CBD it is advisable not to bring CBD on to a plane.

Do you test your products?

Yes, all PLANET THREE products are lab tested and records for each tested product can be tracked on our website using the batch code located on the bottom of your product.

What is the right dose for me?

Given that CBD is not regulated by the FDA there are no exact dosing measures in place at this time. Most people find CBD to work affectively for them by beginning at a low dose and increasing the dose per week until the desired affect or relief is felt. You know your body best, and we aim to provide CBD and Hemp supplements that will help you feel your best.

Are there any side effects from CBD?

Reported side effects from CBD are minimal, however, the most common are drowsiness.

Can I mix my CBD with my medications?

PLANET THREE recommends individuals taking prescription medication to consult with their doctor before beginning a regiment of CBD.

Can I take too much CBD?

It goes without saying that too much of anything can have negative results. In order to have a severe consequence from CBD you’d have to take an over-abundance and that just doesn’t make sense, nor is it recommended.

Is your product vegan?

Yes. We are 100% vegan! Animals have no place in our products.

Is your product non-gmo?

Yes.

Is there THC in your products?

Our CBD products are THC free. Our Delta-8 products contain hemp derived THC.

Will I fail a drug test taking your CBD?

Since there is no trace of THC in our CBD products, you will not fail a drug test. Do not take the Delta-8 products if you are drug tested.

How long does it take for CBD to work?
